My name is Fizza.

I am an Advanced Gut Restoration Nutritional Advisor, that’s a mouthful so I prefer to go by the name “Gut Restorer”.

I help people achieve their happy weight by restoring their gut microbiome so they can finally feel confident and comfortable in their own skin and live a healthier and more fulfilling life.

You see… I get it, because 

You’re not alone, I’ve been there too!

In 2020, a second national lockdown had been enforced in England. That’s when I developed an autoimmune skin condition which I thought was just dry skin. I tried the regular moisturisers but those didn’t help. My blood tests came out normal but my condition kept worsening. Doctors would prescribe steroidal creams which did relieve the symptoms for a short period but left scars and if the medication was stopped, the inflammation would return with a vengeance. In May 2021 eventually, I met a dermatologist and he told me about Blue zone countries and how the people there live longer and better and have a diverse microbiome. Obviously, I couldn’t get the connection as I had a fairly healthy lifestyle already.

He too offered me steroidal creams but recommended that I attempt the natural approach before resorting to them. I reluctantly but obediently studied all the information he shared with me, watched all the Blue Zone Youtube videos and one day I had the epiphany! He was trying to tell me about how we are exposed to toxins on a daily basis through the food we eat and the personal care products, such as cosmetics and soaps, that we use. The following weeks I immersed myself understanding gut health and the world of microbes that resides on and within us. The antibiotics, drugs and our overzealous attitude to wipe out the bugs can have negative consequences. Additionally, the use of certain chemicals in cleaning products and agriculture has also contributed to the presence of toxins in our environment and ultimately in our bodies. My skin issue resolved in a matter of a few weeks as soon as I made tiny changes to my diet and lifestyle. To me this was a miracle and I want to share this experience with you because I believe that it has the power to bring about positive change in your lives too.

In our society, the prevailing attitude towards physical and mental wellness is often reactive rather than proactive.

People tend to prioritize their health only after a significant health issue arises. However, from my personal experience and research, I have come to the conclusion that this approach won’t work. Although my condition was superficial in spite of a healthy lifestyle, I’m unsure what triggered it, was it a reaction to vaccines or excessive hygiene but whatever it was disappeared when I learnt the gut fix.

The culture of popping pills rather than resolving the issue by investigating is like a carriage hurtling down a steep hill ready to crash anytime.

We cannot take the same reactive approach to chronic health issues such as Alzheimer’s, cancer, coronary heart diseases, and mental health problems though. It is crucial to prioritize a proactive approach to our health in order to prevent and manage such conditions.
